This 25 year old’s meteoric rise in the Birmingham music scene has been nothing short of stunning. A 2019 that has seen four headline shows announced at venues including Birmingham’s Castle & Falcon, the O2 Insitute 3 and The Sunflower lounge. Releasing his debut single ‘Alone’ in September this year, the blues influenced pop ballad has wowed fans, local radio stations and critics alike.
Taking inspiration from garage mixes his mother used to play in his early years and infusing them with a love of international music on a wider scale, the self-proclaimed ‘Kingstanding Captain’ is one of the most exciting prospects from the West Midlands to emerge in recent times. Mayday is slowly carving out his own lane in the grime scene, one that is inspired by many but not easily imitated.
El Sam is an Arabic-British Alternative, Indie pop Singer-songwriter and producer, Influenced by the likes of Lana Del Rey, Marc Almond, Amy Winehouse, Sia, Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen. In 2019, El Sam was named as part of the top 25 artists that represent the BBC Introducing West Midlands Sound of 2019.
Naomi Dawes is a singer, songwriter, producer and performer from Birmingham. She started writing songs at the age of 13 and began performing when she was 16. She spent 2018 recording, producing and mixing her EP and released her debut EP Muse on 01/01/19. Since the release of her EP, Naomi has played on the main stages at festivals and preformed has had her music played and A-listed on many local radio stations including, BBC WM Introducing and Brum Radio.
Local singer Brandon Hill is nothing short of show stopping. His authentic raw vocal and stage presence are matched only by his skill as a guitarist. Solo or with full Brandon brings together his unique and hard hitting sound, smashing every note with finesse & style.
Supported by Birmingham’s own DJ Bezny (Adam Smith) who is making waves in Birmingham’s house music scene.
