Following their sold out gig in March, The Real People return for this Xmas cracker of a gig in Birmingham. The Real People are the great lost sons of Liverpool, renowned for their song writing and live shows. How this band aren’t huge is beyond me, they pioneered Britpop, were a huge influence on Oasis (notably Columbia and Rocking Chair) whose sound they developed. You can expect a mix of back catalogue classics such as Window Pane, Rayners Lane, People On The Telly, Dream On, along with songs from current album Monday Morning Breakdown.
Support comes from The Universal, with their spiky brand of mod enfused guitar driven classic British songwriting and Coseley’s finest Roseville.
