This event is now Sold Out

After spending 2019 in the studio working on new music, the band are set to play a handful of special warm up gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London. The five-date run will see the band play a number of unreleased, unheard tracks each night as well as some fan favourites.

The Staves released their first full-length album Dead & Born & Grown in 2012. The Sunday Times called it “a debut of stellar beauty and hidden depths.” In the following years, the band spent time touring the world, including opening spots with Florence + The Machine, The Civil Wars, Ben Howard and Bon Iver.

Heading back into the studio in 2015, the band release their second album ‘If I Was’ later that year to great acclaim and was followed by a run of headline shows resulting in a Sold-Out Roundhouse, festival slots and a special guest slot with First Aid Kit.

After a relocation to Minneapolis in 2016 and the release of the 3-track Sleeping In A Car EP, the band toured North America extensively, selling out venues in major markets across the continent. To coincide with the start of their 2017 tour, The Staves released the double A Side Tired As Fuck / Train Tracks. Safely back on British soil the band have been working on their third studio album.

Plus support from Matilda Mann

Growing up in West London listening to the classics; The Beatles, Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush, 19-year-old musician Matilda Mann wrote her first song at the age of eleven.

More recently inspired by the likes of Laura Marling, Big Thief and The Staves, her songs, originally written as notes taken from conversations with friends, or those overheard during tube rides and working in a pub.

Having finished her studies last year, Matilda has spent the last twelve months becoming streetwise with support tours alongside Will Joseph Cook, Beabadoobee and Rosie Carney.
