Surviving the January blues was tough, but we made it. Helped with the likes of sunny Californian pop makers The Mowgli’s and stunning local band The Novus topping the bill of This Feeling’s Big in 2020 and VANT making his return to Birmingham, February has some big shoes to fill. Here’s what we’ve got coming up to continue one of our biggest years to date…

After performing last year to a lovely crowd of like minded, peace bringing and festival loving individuals, Beans on Toast is back at The Castle and Falcon on Saturday, February 8th. However, don’t expect a one man show this time, as Beans on Toast will be performing with a full. live. band. Kitty and Lewis Durham (from Kitty, Daisy and Lewis) and TENSHEDS will be lending a hand in bringing the biggest Beans sound to date, along with a brand spanking new album this is set to be a treat…

Lover of all things vintage and retro? Then we have a sweet Valentine’s planned for you. After supporting Madness and The Selecter on tour, blues and ska lover Emily Capell will be playing live, beehive and all, at The Castle and Falcon on Friday, February 14th

Despite being a short month, February is packed with some of the biggest acts we’ve had to date. If you’ve got your ear to the ground for new music, you’ll already know all about S-X. The producer and rapper has been making waves with his own tracks, plus his top 10 hit with YouTuber KSI ‘Down Like That’. His gig here on Friday, February 21st has already sold out, so you can expect big things from this local artist.

After Jack Garratt performs his intimate tour here on Saturday, February 22nd, The Mysterines return on Thursday, February 27th. Last year, everyone was asking “who are The Mysterines?” and now it’s abundantly clear. Lia, Chrissy and George have gained a cult following both in their hometown of The Wirral and across the UK. This is their third time performing at the venue, armed with even more explosive new material.
