The Venue:
The Castle and Falcon has made its mark on Birmingham as being a traditional Irish pub opening its doors all the way back in 1852. The pub has gone through many changes over time and now stands impressively as a live music venue and late night bar known all across the city.
The live music venue itself is perfectly equipped for local and touring bands, DJ sets and talks/discussions. The venue room has an impressive 400 person capacity, along with seating and tables, its own bar, toilets and access to backstage and the green room.
The front of house still holds The Castle and Falcon’s tradition and history, but with modern touches. The bar has a wooden interior with a homely feel and nods to its Irish heritage, but a fresh design with its decor. The main bar leads into the garden, complete with its own bar area, seating and bi-fold roof perfect for any occasion (or weather!)
Acts
Since revamping into a live music venue in 2017, The Castle and Falcon has had an impressive calibre of touring acts perform. From the critically acclaimed Tom Walker and Let’s Eat Grandma, international bands Deap Vally and Sunflower Bean, rising stars Mahalia, The Murder Capital, Inhaler, Yonaka and The Blinders, not to mention Brit Award winner Sam Fender in 2018.
