The Castle & Falcon has existed since 1852 and is a live music venue and late night bar situated on the Moseley Road in Birmingham.

In late 2007 the pub was taken over and re-named Molloys Ceol Castle. Since then the venue has played an important part in Birmingham’s Irish community hosting monthly trad sessions with acts including Rackhouse Pilfer and Sean Keane having performed. The pub began putting on gigs every weekend and popularity soared with large queues to get in.

In 2016 the owners decided to completely transform and refurb the venue giving it a new lease of life. Whilst work continued on the pub the owners found the original stone sign and decided to re-name the venue under the original name of The Castle and Falcon restoring some of the buildings history

The pub has a capacity of 300 with two downstairs bars that host live music each week bought to you by Birmingham Promoters, monthly trad sessions by Birmingham Trad Fest and weekend DJ sets from some of Brum’s best DJ’s spinning funk, soul, hip-hop and more.

We will be launching on the 31st March with a night of soul, funk and rockabilly. Join us and The Atlantic Players, Harry & The Howlers and DJ Sam Redmore at our official launch night.
